Understanding Digital TV Reception

The biggest problem with digital reception is the trees. I find the reception can change annually when the annual trees get their new growth which can affect the strength of the Digital signal path to your aerial.

The good thing about TV reception in the Southern Highlands and Illawarra is we have two television towers to choose. I always find you can get reception from at least one of them. That’s why it is so important to survey with a Digital Field Strength Meter at the Antenna. Using a field strength metre ensures your aerial is pointing in the right direction.
